When running PHP applications on CloudLinux, the CageFS filesystem can block communication between the Atatus PHP agent and the Atatus backend, preventing data from being sent.
Cause
CageFS isolates each user into a virtualized environment, but in doing so, it can restrict access to required sockets or resources used by the Atatus agent. This restriction blocks the agent’s ability to send data.
Solution:
To resolve this, you can disable CageFS either partially (reinitialize) or fully disable it.
Option 1: Reinitialize CageFS
This temporarily resolves the issue but may not be a long-term fix:
copy
cagefsctl --reinit
Option 2: Fully Disable CageFS
If the problem returns after reinitialization, disabling CageFS completely is recommended:
copy
cagefsctl --disable-all
After disabling, the Atatus PHP agent will start sending data as expected.
