Application Performance Monitoring (APM)
Atatus APM requires an application server agent and it offers several different agents for different applications. You will have to choose the appropriate agent for different applications. The agent will even recognize any changes you make to your code.
Atatus will collect the data once every minute and send it to the cloud, where it aggregates the data, calculates the average and creates a report in a chart form.
In case of any errors in your application, the agent will capture the stack traces when making a database call. You can also configure alerts to let you know if transaction time or resource consumption exceeds the threshold value you have set.

Infrastructure Monitoring (Server Monitoring)
Atatus Infrastructure monitoring was developed to help enterprise customers monitor their large and dynamically changing environments. You will be asked to install an infra agent in your application to monitor the performance. In order to make it simple, you will be asked to set tags for your hosts when installing the agent. The tags are useful when you want to filter your search and when creating alerts. The agent will also provide a more accurate picture of the health of your hosts and the impact your infrastructure has on your applications. Based on this, you can come up with ideal solutions to make improvements.
