Atatus receives a stream of data from various browsers and machines. In case of any problematic release, host, browser or IP address that is causing an excessive amount of noise, you can ignore all events using inbound filters.
Inbound Filters List
Filters are available for both Browser and APM. To set the filter, navigate to [Project] » Settings » Inbound Filters.
- Wildcard characters like * are supported.
- You can give multiple filters as separate line.
Following inbound filters are available:
Hostnames - to ignore events from certain hosts or servers, use this filter.
User Agents - this filter is useful in the case of browsers like PhantomJS, IE8 that you do not want to support or collect metrics from. This filter also helps in disabling bot traffic.
IP Addresses - there will be particular user or users constantly sending large amounts of unwanted data, to ignore such data, you can block their IP addresses using this filter.
App Versions - in case you do not want to see data from older versions of your application, this filter can be used.
Tags - to avoid events from specific tagged data, you can make use of this filter.
