The Problems list is where you triage what's going on across your stack. This page walks through everything on it: the summary tiles, the trend chart, the filters, and the table itself.
Summary tiles
At the top of the page, four tiles give you an at-a-glance count for the selected time range:
| Tile | Description |
|---|---|
| Total Problems | Every Problem detected in the selected time range |
| Active | Problems that are still open |
| Acknowledged | Problems your team has acknowledged but not yet resolved |
| Resolved | Problems that have cleared |
Problem trends chart
Below the tiles, a chart plots Active, Opened, and Resolved Problems over time. Use it to spot whether Problems are piling up faster than your team is resolving them, or to see when a spike in incidents happened.
Quick filters
Next to the Problems heading, three toggles let you jump straight to a subset without opening the filters panel: Active, Opened, and Resolved. Opened covers every Problem that isn't resolved yet, whether it's Active or Acknowledged.
Search and filters
Use the search box at the top of the table to filter by free text, such as a status, severity, or impact level. For more control, open the Filters panel on the left. It lists every value with a live count, so you can see how many Problems match before you select it:
| Filter | Values |
|---|---|
| Status | Resolved, Merged, Active, Acknowledged |
| Severity | Error, Slowdown, Resource, Availability, Custom |
| Impact Level | Infrastructure, Services |
| Problem Type | Error rate increase, Response time degradation, Memory saturation, CPU saturation, Web Throughput, Availability |
You can combine filters from more than one category at once, for example Status: Active plus Severity: Error, to narrow the table down to only what you need to act on right now.
The Problems table
Each row is one Problem. The columns are sortable, so click any header to reorder the table by that field:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Problem | The generated title and the Problem's ID, for example P-F4BA99 |
| Impact | Infrastructure or Services |
| Severity | Error, Slowdown, Resource, Availability, or Custom |
| Status | Active, Acknowledged, Resolved, or Merged |
| Affected | How many entities are impacted, for example "2 Svc" or "1 Infra" |
| Root Cause | The entity identified as the cause, or "Analyzing" while automatic correlation is still working it out |
| Duration | How long the Problem has been (or was) open |
| Detected | When Atatus first detected it |
Click any row to open the Problem Details page for that Problem.
Time range and pagination
Use the time range selector in the top right (for example All time) to change the window the whole page reflects, and Refresh to pull the latest data. At the bottom of the table, choose how many rows to show per page (20, 50, or 100) and page through the results.
