How to install Atatus APM agent in PHP 5.4?

PHP 5.4 monitoring is only available on Agent 1.12.0. This guide will help you to install 1.12.0 Agent in your system.

Debian

Download the Atatus 1.12.0 Debian agent from:

# Download Debian tarball
wget https://s3.amazonaws.com/atatus-artifacts/atatus-php/downloads/atatus-php-1.12.0-x64-debian.tar.gz

Unzip the agent files

tar -xzvf atatus-php-1.12.0-x64-debian.tar.gz
cd atatus-php-1.12.0-x64-debian

Install the php agent
sudo ATATUS_LICENSE_KEY="APM_LIC_KEY" ATATUS_APP_NAME="YOUR_APP_NAME" bash install.sh
APM_LIC_KEY - add the Atatus APM License key in this line of code. YOUR_APP_NAME - add the application name in this line of code.
Do not change the app name. If you do, it will create a new project. For more advanced options, view Customizing AgentMake sure that the license key and app name are set correctly in the Atatus configuration file: atatus.ini. You can find the path of atatus.ini file by running php -i | grep atatus.ini command in the shell.
For an on-premise server, also set these lines in atatus.ini:
atatus.collector.notify_host = "YOUR_ON_PREMISE_HOST" atatus.collector.notify_ssl = YOUR_ON_PREMISE_SSL
Stop and Start your PHP services. Stop and Start your servers such as nginx, php-fpm, apache, httpd, etc. Then you will see the performance data in a few minutes. Just access your server from your web app or mobile app or curl. You will visualize your application’s metrics within minutes.

Download the Atatus 1.12.0 Redhat agent from:

# Download Redhat tarball
wget https://s3.amazonaws.com/atatus-artifacts/atatus-php/downloads/atatus-php-1.12.0-x64-redhat.tar.gz
