PHP Agent Installation - RedHat, CentOS

Install the agent

1. Add repository Execute the following command to add the redhat repository.
   sudo curl -o /etc/yum.repos.d/atatus-php-agent.repo https://s3.amazonaws.com/atatus-artifacts/atatus-php/rpm/x86_64/atatus-php-agent.repo
   
   sudo yum -q makecache -y --disablerepo='*' --enablerepo='atatus-php-agent'
   
2. Install php agent
   sudo ATATUS_LICENSE_KEY="APM_LIC_KEY" ATATUS_APP_NAME="YOUR_APP_NAME" yum install atatus-php-agent -y
   
   APM_LIC_KEY - add the Atatus APM License key in this line of code. YOUR_APP_NAME - add the application name in this line of code.
   For an on-premise server, also set these lines in atatus.ini:

   atatus.collector.notify_host = "YOUR_ON_PREMISE_HOST"
   atatus.collector.notify_ssl = YOUR_ON_PREMISE_SSL
   
3. Restart your web server and PHP - FPM Stop and Start your servers such as nginx, php-fpm, apache, httpd, etc. Then you will see the performance data in a few minutes. Just access your server from your web app or mobile app or curl. You will visualize your application’s metrics within minutes.

# Verify package installed
rpm -qa | grep atatus-php-agent

# Verify PHP extension loaded
php -i | grep atatus

Upgrade the agent (to the next version)

sudo yum -q makecache -y --disablerepo='*' --enablerepo='atatus-php-agent'
yum --showduplicates list atatus-php-agent

sudo yum update atatus-php-agent -y

Install specific version of agent

• Remove Atatus agent completely.

sudo yum remove atatus-php-agent -y

• Check list of available Atatus versions.

yum --showduplicates list atatus-php-agent

# Sample output for yum --showduplicates list

Available Packages
atatus-php-agent.x86_64           1.18.0-1           atatus-php-agent

• Install specific version of Atatus agent.

sudo ATATUS_LICENSE_KEY="APM_LIC_KEY" ATATUS_APP_NAME="YOUR_APP_NAME" yum install atatus-php-agent-"SPECIFIC_VERSION" -y

# Install specific version 1.18.0
sudo ATATUS_LICENSE_KEY="APM_LIC_KEY" ATATUS_APP_NAME="YOUR_APP_NAME" yum install atatus-php-agent-"1.18.0-1" -y
