  • Fixed Kubernetes leader election for cluster metrics collection.
  • Improved node metrics separation, so each node reports accurate metrics in multi-node Kubernetes clusters.
  • Fixed Kubernetes deployment parsing, so deployment information is processed correctly.

  • Added AWS IAM database authentication for PostgreSQL on Amazon RDS and Aurora, including cross-account access with role_arn. Configure it with an aws: block in conf.d/postgresql.d/postgresql.yml. See PostgreSQL managed authentication.
  • Fixed PostgreSQL DBM connections failing when the password contains %, ?, /, or :. The agent no longer puts the password into a connection URL.
  • PostgreSQL DBM connections now honor an explicit TLS mode. The mode defaults to verify-full when IAM authentication is in use.
  • The agent now fails at startup when aws.managed_authentication is set for SQL Server or Oracle, instead of ignoring it. AWS offers IAM database authentication only for MariaDB, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Added support for ClickHouse database monitoring.
  • Added log level parsing for better log classification and filtering.
  • Fixed Docker file-stream log sources, so container logs are read and processed correctly.
  • Added support for reading logs directly from Amazon S3.
