Elasticsearch Instrumentation with .NET APM Agent - Atatus Docs

Atatus .NET APM traces the Elasticsearch .NET client by subscribing to the diagnostics it emits, creating a span for each request issued to Elasticsearch inside an active transaction.

Package installation

Add the Atatus Elasticsearch instrumentation package to the application.

dotnet add package Atatus.Elasticsearch --version 3.2.2

If you are already using the Atatus.NetCoreAll package, Elasticsearch subscribers are wired automatically and no additional subscription code is required.

Register the diagnostics subscriber once during application startup so Atatus can create spans from the emitted activities.
